In Park City, the ski day does not end when the lifts stop. Après ski ranges from a cheap burger and a beer at the base to oysters on the mountain and a champagne tent in East Village. Resorts open November 20 (Park City Mountain) and December 5 (Deer Valley), both weather permitting, and most winter hours are not posted yet, so check before you go.
Canyons Village and Park City Mountain base
- Après at the Airstream: Weekly live music, food, drinks and fireside gatherings at Canyons Village. Last season it ran Friday through Sunday afternoons, so check this winter’s days.
- Umbrella Bar: A big deck with fire pits, live music and 360-degree views at the Canyons Village Forum, with no lift ride needed. It is a 21+ patio, and hours vary by season.
- The Corner Store: A family-owned base-area favorite since 1974 with a full bar, patio and cheap casual food. Family-friendly earlier in the day.
- Pig Pen Saloon: A deck and a lively crowd at the Park City Mountain base on Lowell Avenue.
Main Street
- No Name Saloon: A historic, 21+ bar with a heated rooftop patio and fireplace seating.
- High West Distillery and Saloon: Whiskey cocktails and Western-inspired food near the Town Lift.
- Spur Bar and Grill: Live music and local beers on Main.
Deer Valley
- RIME Raw Bar: At the top of the Jordanelle Gondola, with oysters and seafood in the afternoon. It closes early, so it works best as early après.
- The Sticky Wicket (Silver Lake Lodge): A 21+ slopeside spot at Silver Lake Lodge.
- Troll Hallen Lounge (Stein Eriksen Lodge): Seasonal cocktails and burgers in a classic ski-lodge setting.
- Snowspell at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley: A new après program in East Village last winter, with a DJ, champagne and spiked cocoa. Check whether it returns this season.
New in East Village
Deer Valley East Village keeps growing. Park Peak Lodge is expected to open its first floor, with food and drinks, this winter. East Village Lodge is delayed to the 2027-28 season. If you stay near East Village, you are close to all of it.
