If skiing isn’t your thing, summer is a great time to visit Park City. The weather warms up, but it’s never humid, so it’s perfect for dining on the patio and enjoying the mountain views. We aren’t just a ski town, there are plenty more outdoor activities to enjoy from hiking to fly fishing and more.

Winter in Park City tends to be all about skiing! We are known for our skiing worldwide after all. We have lots of top quality ski resorts to visit, but there is still so much more to do. Great food and drink, sledding, the ice castles, and more.

The changing foliage in Park City in the fall is a must-see. It’s still comfortable enough to hike or explore other outdoor activities, but the snow comes early in Park City, sometimes as early as October. Which means it is SKI SEASON!

• Ride the coaster and alpine slide at the base of Park City Mountain
• Rent an electric bike and cruise around for the day
• Rent a pontoon or ski boat at the Jordanelle Reservoir
• Visit the cave at Timpanogos
• If you want to relax by the pool, we love Silver Mountain. It has a lazy river and slide, plus an outdoor grill area and huge playground.

• Watch the Olympians practice their jumps at Olympic Park–they have weekly shows.
• Ride the bobsled. They also have some fun ropes courses and a huge tube you can ride down the mountain.

Spring in Park City is magical. After months of the best snow around, the weather warms up and things start to get green again. Hiking, biking, and more take the place of skiing to keep you busy.
