Summer in Park City means farmers markets, music and festivals nearly every week from June through September. Here are the events we love most and when they usually happen. Exact dates are announced each spring, so check each event’s website before you book your stay.

Markets

• Park City Farmers Market: Wednesdays from late May to October, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Park Silly Sunday Market: a Park City tradition on Main Street, with handcrafted goods, art, vintage finds, local food and live music. It runs on selected Sundays from June into late September.
• Heber Market on Main: Thursdays from June to August.

Festivals and celebrations

• Savor the Summit: late June.
• Fourth of July Parade and Celebrations: a morning 5K and the parade down Main Street at 11 a.m.
• Kimball Arts Festival: early August.
• Chef’s Table Festival: mid-August.
• Midway Swiss Days: early September.
• Miners Day: Labor Day.

Music

• Deer Valley Music Festival: mid-July through mid-August.
• Park City Song Summit: late August. An annual celebration of music, from intimate acoustic sets to full-band shows. Tickets here.

Beer and food

• Hops on the Hill: a Tuesday summer series on the Flagstaff deck at Stein Eriksen Lodge, with a different Utah brewery each week paired with comfort-food bites. It is 21 and over, so reserve ahead.
• Deer Valley Mountain Beer Festival: mid-September on the lawn at Silver Lake Lodge. Guests ride the Silver Lake Express chairlift from Snow Park Village, and more than 20 Utah breweries and cideries pour, with live music. Tickets include chairlift access.
